Product listings on this website are an invitation to treat, not an offer. When you place an order you are offering to buy the goods. We will send an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received your order — this is not acceptance.

A binding contract is formed only when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. If an item is unavailable, incorrectly priced or cannot be supplied, we will contact you and refund any amount already taken in full.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at 20% where applicable. The VAT element of your order is itemised in your basket and on your order confirmation.

Delivery charges are additional and are shown clearly at checkout before you pay. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatch; where a price is corrected you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Payment is taken at checkout via our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form and are never stored on our servers. We do not have access to your full card number.

We deliver across the UK using tracked couriers. Delivery charges, methods and coverage are set out on our Shipping Policy page. Delivery estimates are indicative and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes once we have received payment in full.

If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, email info@a1ppe.uk with your order number.

Certain goods are excluded from the cancellation right for hygiene and health-protection reasons once unsealed — see our Returns Policy.

Our full returns process, exclusions and refund timescales are set out in the Returns Policy. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If goods are faulty, we will repair, replace or refund in line with your statutory rights.

Personal protective equipment must be selected, fitted, inspected, used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and your own risk assessment. Product information on this site is provided in good faith as supplied to us by manufacturers and does not replace a competent workplace assessment. It is the employer's or user's responsibility to confirm that a product is suitable for the intended task.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the above, and where you are buying in the course of a business, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the price paid for that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
